I'm seriously impressed with the toy welder.

For a finger control weld, that's not bad at all. How much welding have you done before this?

did you have to run a 220 line?

I would love to see more & hear more from a pro about this little box!!

theoldepro: the awesome thing about this MS150 is that is has a changeable plug that's pretty simple, but you can swap it for 115 or 230. I have been looking into getting a few of the autoset 211's for my shop and they have this plug on them.
T1: Take a look at Millers website, it has all the info you need. http://www.millerwelds.com/products/tig/product.php?model=M00143

I'm a self taught welding hack with a couple of years @ guessing.

Well you're doing really well, great color for stainless: straw (best), rose (great), blue (good). A little less heat and or change your torch angle, you have a little undercut along the edge. I'm sure once you get your pedal, most of this will be 100x's easier. Keep it up, and keep posting.

Thanks M.E.
The color info is very helpful.
I'm sure I'll hit you up in a fit of rage over porosity. It seems no matter how much I clean the bits I still battle worm holes & bubbles.

What do you mean by bits, specifically?
